The Greek Goddess Hecate (also known as Hekate, or known as Trivia to the Romans) is beloved to many witches and Pagans. It is said that she rules over the earth, sea, and sky. The Greeks honored her at this time of the year as Hecate at the Crossroads, and the Triangle Area Pagan Alliance is very pleased to offer a ritual in honor of this Divine Lady.
This ritual will take place on Sunday, November 23 at Thaumaturgy 777 in Durham, NC. The ritual will take place in the Grapevine Hair Studio’s Vision Room, which is downstairs in the Thaumaturgy 777 building. Gather at 1pm, and ritual begins promptly at 1:15pm.
This ritual is free and open to all. You are invited to contribute items for our special Hecate altar. Magical tools and ritual garb are welcome as well, but not required. Wear whatever makes you feel pretty and comfortable, and if you have a special ritual item you'd love to use, please feel free to bring it!
Light refreshments and beverages will be provided after the ritual. Please feel free to contribute to post-ritual snacks, and to share this event with your friends and groups - we'd love to have you!
At this ritual we will ask that Hecate “light the crossroads before us that we may see our way.”
